Nicola Hodges

Nicola is a big fibre enthusiast who has traveled all around, following her interests and obsessions wherever they might lead. She's worked with sheep on farms in Scotland and Germany and has traveled around Europe and North America in search of historical fibre facts.

She has been embedded in the knitting, spinning and all around textile art world in Vancouver B.C. since she was 16 years old. She now lives on a tiny island off the west coast where she dreams of having sheep and goats and making even more things.

Nicola provides her massive bank of knitting, spinning, dyeing and fibre knowledge as well as her excellent quality technical editing and sample knitting to the members of The Knitwear Design Cooperative.
